Daily Plan & Nutrient Summary, including how you hit guidelines or your own targets

Why SupaStack?

Most supplement routines fail because they treat everyone the same. But your body is unique—you absorb nutrients differently, eat differently, and have different lifestyle demands.

The problem? You’re flying blind. Taking random doses based on bottle labels, not knowing if your magnesium glycinate works better than oxide for you, or whether that zinc is blocking your iron absorption.

SupaStack helps you experiment with forms, dosages and timings in order to find a supplement routine that actually works for your body.

SupaStack assists you in:

  • Planning your typical day and experimenting with different forms, doses, and timing
  • Checking the totals of all nutrients (e.g.: your individual magnesium forms combined with your multivitamin) and testing different combinations
  • Keeping track of what you took day after day (this can be done automatically, based on your latest modifications of your daily plan)

Your recorded intake history can later be matched against your symptoms and/or your bloodwork results.

Optionally, you can also:

  • Check off your intakes as each day progresses in order to make sure you don’t forget anything
  • Check off on Apple Watch so you don’t have to pull out your phone every time
  • Track everything in one place: supplements, foods, drinks, anything that matters to you

Track any nutrients that matter to you:

Vitamins, minerals, omega-3s, amino acids, creatine, caffeine, antioxidants, or even macros.

No more guessing. No more forgotten doses. Just a simple, organized approach to better health.

How It Works

1. Add Your Supplements

Enter your vitamins, minerals, and other supplements with their exact nutrient content—so the app can calculate your true daily totals across everything you take.

2. Create Your Daily Plan

Plan when to take each supplement throughout your day—Vitamin D with breakfast, Magnesium with dinner, whatever works for you. Test new schedules for a few weeks to see what’s optimal.

Review your daily nutrient totals at a glance to ensure you’re meeting your goals.

3. Track Daily Progress

Either check off supplements with a single tap as you take them or let the app log everything automatically based on your daily plan.

Optionally: Track directly from your Apple Watch—no need to pull out your phone each time!

4. Leverage your history

Be confident that you can leverage all your recorded data at any time in the future. You can:

  • Review your history day by day
  • Export your data as CSV (Excel), Markdown or JSON.
  • Coming soon: the app will show you changes/inflection points in your history for any supplement or nutrient you want to focus on.

How SupaStack came to life

I’ve been interested in nutrition for at least 20 years (my first post on this topic, I think, dates from 2003). Since then, I posted about Nutrition in English here and in French here.

The first time I mused about having a better app that would allow to log things with less taps, was in this post of what we used to call “quantifying-yourself” in 2014, so again more than 10 years ago…

Of course, I have tested available apps in between, but they all fall short on at least one of these:

  • Privacy
  • Offline use
  • Minimal number of taps
  • Watch operation
  • Allowing my day to end later than midnight

So, I had no choice but to write my own…

However, my software development skills were focused on web development and more specifically back-end databases. That did not translate well to a phone app. Even less to a watch app.

Then came AI. This made it possible to jump right in from the top, with a much easier learning curve than if I had to learn mobile development from the ground up.

The result is this app. I have been using it daily for several months now… and plan to continue for several decades. I have been waiting for this for over 10 years ;)

I’m scratching my own itch. It’s super niche. It might even be super geeky. But if you share my vision here, I like you! :) And I am happy to offer this app for you to use! :)
